Join the Hanuman Festival team and work behind the scenes! Work-exchange volunteers will play a crucial role in providing an organized and pleasurable event for all. Work-exchange volunteers will get to attend yoga classes, music events, and enjoy the entire festival, in exchange for a commitment of 14 hours of work and a nominal fee. There are a limited number of positions that fill up quickly so we encourage you to get your application in soon.
Here is what you can expect from us:
- The opportunity to be a part of the Hanuman Festival Team, representing Boulder, Colorado`s critically acclaimed Yoga and Music festival! You will be surrounded by like minded yogis and be able to directly contribute to the success of the festival. You will meet and mingle with people who share your passion for yoga and music!
- Work exchange volunteers will have the opportunity to take classes from world class yoga instructors and go see concerts from incredible musicians in the yoga scene!
- Have the opportunity to give back in the spirit of SEVA (selfless service) and make an impact through the power of community.
- See the whole event unfold from behind the scenes!
Here is what we will expect from you:
- Work Exchange Volunteers need to be available from June 7 – June 10, 2012.
- As a team member you will be required to work 14 hours doing festival production tasks. This will be spread out over 4 days so you can participate in a lot of the festival.
- There will be a mandatory orientation meeting for volunteers on June 6, 2012.
- There is a $100 fee to become a work exchange volunteer. Just think, you can enjoy hours of incredible yoga and music for just $100!
- We will be finalizing our decisions on volunteers in mid-April. If chosen, you can expect to receive an invitation letter which you will need to accept with your non-refundable payment of $100.
- Volunteers are responsible for their own housing, meals and transportation.

What you need to do to become a volunteer:
- Complete the entire application form and submit a current resume and current “headshot” photo. Do this soon, as assignment preferences are considered based on your skills and then on a first come first serve basis. We will do our best to accommodate your assignment requests.
